apparently 1kg of the fly is like 100kgs of the car - or something like that.

Did you get the verto or pre verto?

The minispares version when available weighs 4kg.

Personaly if you are putting masses of torque through it, I would rather have a bit more material there.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

So if fitting Carl's titanium bits, there would be no weight whatsoever??

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

I cant remember now, lol I have since scrapped the standard flywheel. I did the same and compared the standard with the lightened, and as said above, its only 1 kg lighter. I also compared the whole shebang with an ultralight set up and the verto was considerably heavier. However, im not fussed as now at least I know the standard cast item is not ging to go pop at 8krpm *laughing*

It isnt the overall weight that matters. it's where that weight is located.

Although big heavy and strong have their good points.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
