I am currently building a 1380cc engine with K1100 head (in an Austin A30). I have been encountering some issues with the front pulley spacing etc. I have put on the toothed belt and the alternator (original pulley). I could really do with a toothed wheel to make the Megasquirt work. I assume that I need a longer bolt, but how long? Has anyone else had this issue?
Sorry to pop in a normally aspirated "foreigner" but our vehicles are very much related (mine being the Grandfather!!) and you boys seem techy enough to have the answer that I need!

I had the same issue. Minispares sell an extended crank bolt (cap head).
