It's a good idea, but the gear sets are designed to move a bike's weight. I'm guessing a mini weighs 4-500KG more so there is a huge potential for wear and tare.

Be interesting to see it working and how long it lasts.

Clever if it works, but pointless tbh

I seriously doubt it!

Nice. I canīt help to like the idea.

I donīt want to hi-jack the tread, but i have read about Trans-x 6-speed boxes and jack knight 6-speed boxes.

Is it possible to get hold off one of these for real world money (less than a million Ģ) ? or should i forget the idea?

Are they any good or do they break?

If i have more toys than you when i die, I WIN

There were rhumoured to be roughlly 6 six speed tranex (or was it JKD, I cant remember) boxes built for Rover/ BMH. I know where one of those is, but it is broken. Wayne Butterworth of West Penine Motorsprt who owned and ran P254 WFH for a few years, sold it as broken for around Ģ1000, to a chap who got a quote for its repair, which came to Ģ2000, so an un broken 6 speed transmission has to be worth Ģ3000 at least. Chances of finding one intact and the owner willing to sell, slim to none!

Australia oi oi oi!

i can't see problem with the gears as the are much thicker then mini gears..

plus the put bike engines in a car? what is the difference? it's pulling the same weight in the car?

i think this is a race box not a road box

bigger surface area hence stronger???

For the most part bike gear box design is builet proof granted its dragging a moutain instead of a mole hill but I think it will handle it.

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

I saw that, but its not clear how it will work in with the sequencial tumbler, hence the humerous comments. Sorry if it was not as humerous as I would have hoped

First 5 port miniturbo to make over 200 bhp on a carb?

Mmmm,,, yeah well,,, these things take a fair bit of race abuse & are still many of them alive & well,,, so oooooooo ???

but i`m keen *smiley*

I mean you could have picked a weaker bike g-kit hey? plenty of integrity the way i`m looking at it... just the execution, materials & methods etc could vary between the designer/creator/builder of said item could differ between the massive array of levels of competency right?

so,,,In my eyes , it comes down to the ability, knowlege, experience & craftsmanship of the person doin the hard yards yeah?
