Matty, Fantastically quick build!
i recently got a BMC body service parts list
and thought some of it may be of interest to you its full of all the trim options and part numbers for mk1 Austin and Morris cars.
it also has a lot of diagrams of how all these little fiddly bits go together such as the window catches ect.
if you want me to have a look for anything let me know and i will

Cheers Adam, how many pages is the whole manual? lol Some info on trim options would be good.

Ive spent the last 4 weeks repainting my rear quarters as I was happy with the rear door gaps, or finish...mangaed to get it all repainted on Satruday.

I got the head off today to check the suspect valves out. Its looks like the exhaust valve is completely burnt out, and its a bit tight in the guide. Im hoping this is all thats causing the lack of compression! *oh well*

Excellent cheers for that.

If you could get a pick of the sliding windows and fitting, that would be good!

Well ive managed to get the engine sorted after no compression on one of the cylinders. It turns out it was just a sticking valve that had burnt out. Im releived to say the least that the engine doesn't have to come out!

Engine is 99.9999% done, just need to source a carb elbow to fit the filter.

Depends on how much I would be wanting for it?

I should think it would be a substancial amount more than I'd be willing to pay, as I only need the elbow. lol

I think I have a couple of carb elbows in the garage. Are there different types?

There is a fair few different ones. The one I need has a circular opening where the filter connect instead of the oval shape opening.

If you can have a look that would be great! :)

Its been a while since I updated this. Ive been messing around with all the middley bits so not too much to show for hours in the garage!

Im just waiting for some door drains to turn up, then the interior will be complete.

I made a new tie bar, like the old style because im a being tight and couldn't warrent nearly £40 for a new one. *happy*

That looks fantastic, I do like how simple the early cars were. It doesn't sound like it's far off being done now.

Thanks for the comments! I had my first drive in it today, its so much fun to drive.

Yeah that washer bottle will be scrubbed clean...the main problem is that the dirt is in the inside. *oh well*

Bleach it.
