i think this is the right section, basically i have a 1275 engine that has a 12g940 head on it, its currently std straight from a metro....for now i am going n/a but what kinda power can i expect from it as std on a hif44 and how many more ponies will i get if i put in a 276 cam?

just roughtly here guys i am tryin to work out if its worth while to change the cam or not.

also is the metro engine the same as the cooper engine?

Standard metro - 60ish nanas
MG Metro - 75ish nanas

Cooper engine? Cooper what spi, mpi, 970, 998?

I can't comment on STD engine plus 276.

std metro economy is 50 bhp,not sure that the 276 will make a good set up. But why not, let know.
