My moke up for testing twin's turbocharged
just finished the N/A tuning, and even like this it does pull really well,
impatient to know turbocharged results *surprised*

for now it's my best one!

(+40 16 cc pistons flushed deck, 9/1 cr, mgN/A cam@106°, home head with 36/30 valves, modified port roof in/ex and chambers) nothing extreme but well tuned with matched comp and parts, something around 85/90 bhp, apllying mety maths (94 bhp from 50 N/a), it could be around the 150/160 nana's at low boost (8 psi), still have to build exhaust mani/turbo. Turbine is already selected, still miss compressor.
Will see,

Do I read between the lines that you have access to custom turbos at will ?

I'm building/selecting/working all my turbos.

Started this about two decades ago with guys at magnycours working on their alpine's turbo, then r5 gt turbos later. That was great time, Ligier was their worshop, the five turbos were really big guns on the road, we also had access to special fuell and some datums from renault sport.....

This story started two decades ago,
it was the first time I met that chap who was working for Ligier, became a good friend a little bit later. He soon after bought hid first renault alpine five, then I owned a 5 turbo one...
Magnycourt was ten minutes away from me.
What agood time....

Nic, do you think that mirage manifold would accomodate with a twin manifold?

Fab, are you interested in a small batch of home made manifold à la Mirage ?

The reason I ask is because I know a guy who will and if we can share costs, it could be interesting.

I check with him if he can weld and I'll get in touch with a friend who can do flanges (works in a water cutting facility)

In fact, if it's for making some "mirage" manifold, I would tend to buy one from Mirage... really good cost/quality/power wise, it does also give you a turnkey solution .
Then I have other plans which is more like a nicer ( flowing wise manifold) 3 into 1.
But then it needs mendrel bending/jig study/welding etc that does have a real cost and time consuming....
Will certainly let better on the road side to have a good solution, work is taking all my free time, so if a mirage manifold can take twin's I know what I'll use *wink* .

No worries.

Definitely, time is money.

Mirage option also have an influence on the turbo that can be used, right ?

I will go for the steam pipe option.
You buy some 90° elbows and a 6 meters pipe (various diameter and 316L available) and all you need is a saw and some time (I have a friend who will exchange my study with his welding).
