Most mini companies sell recon calipers.

Local motorfactors usally exhange calipers. In milton keynes we have a motorserve and a central auto supplies.

If you really cant find anywhere in london i could give u the details for these two.

refurbing 2 pots is a pain - i have done it

refurbing 4 pots (after doing 2 pots i didnt bother to even attempt 4 pots)

First company is motorserve : Tel: 01908 220995

thats each by the way. If not, call into any local halfords for an exchange - they may have to order them but its usually next day

yes, dont know what the surchage part of that is though but if your exchanging it should be cheaper

I've got a refurb question.

Behind one of the seals for the caliper piston I've got a big groove. Will this make the caliper seal fail? I cannot see why to be honest, but they are very nicely machined there. Is this because the piston needs to be centered, or is the surface quality very important?
