can anyone help i am thinking about doing away with the points on my 1994 mini rio 1275 i have been looking at some kits but dont understand the requierments it says i need to have a negative earth ,non ballast points type coil and a points type coil with more than 1.5 ohm resistance can anyone help me on this thanks |

doesnt a 1994 1275 have electronic ignition anyway? Yes i moved to the darkside |

hi no there is just 1 black wire that comes out the side of the dizzy and joshua i thought it would be rlectronic but i am no convinced it is the original engine the number identification tag has also been played with so ii am having trouble identifing the engine all i know is its a 1275 lol |

Not electonic per say. you shoud have two wires coming out of the Dizzy with module mounted remotly. There should be a box of tricks to go with this item.

yes i took the dizzy cap off and it defo has points only 1 black wire comes out of it |

If you want one and anyone can find out what curve this motor is supposed to have I have several dizzys that may suite your motor. Own the day
