After fitting adjustbale bottom arms, tie bars, rear tracking brackets etc i need it all aligning. With no flat space to sit the car on and do it myself where would people recommend to go in yorkshire?

As regards to set up, its a very personal thing, am sure there was a thread on this. Do a search.

In order to do mine I took measurements from the outer end of the lower arm to the subframe and from the lower ball joint to the front of the tie bar then reproduced these meaurements when I fitted my adjustable arms and tie bars. Got it spot on Own the day

The car is used for typical "fast road" uses, but also covers long distance so tyre wear is an issue but certainly not a priority. whatever settings you put in ,castor ,camber ,make sure they are even at the very least, 1/2 to 1 deg camber, 3-5 degs caster, set toe straight ahead to start with , the turn one side in 1/2 a turn, see how it feels, carl |

Got it spot on so you adjusted your adjustable arms and rods to be the same as standard ones? why change them for adjustable ones at all? |

I'm happy for you to pop round and I'll have a twiddle with your motor. If it's not right you can always come back, I don't charge. The only gauge I don't have is a toe gauge. My toe gauges are home made (some wood and string),repeatability is ok so it's not a problem. I might be able to borrow a single axel one, which would be ok as long as you think about other measurements at the rear to keep side to side even. If you fancy a pro having a go then Tockwith mororsport come recommended http://www.tockwithmotorsports.net/index.html Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
