Are there any regulations against having the fuel pump mounted inside the car!?

Whats the car used for, supose either way road or track the rear seat doesnt sound advisable.

Why would you want to? I would avoid it if at all possible. It's certinally a no-no in the MSA (and FIA regs.) Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

my advice is to mount the fuel pump to the inside of the subframe at the rear Near side under the tank on some rubber bobbins, at least its out of the the car .............. much safer!
