those plane trigger wheels £14 pound ones? i have thought about them but what about the sensor bracket will it reach as the thickness of the pulley (due to the supercharger) also do you think it will fit between the pulley and radiator bracket

Without knowing the size of your pulley, I'm not sure that I'm the best person to answer that question.

What's the pulley like?

Fuck me! £150 for that and its not even a damper.

I doubt you will get a full answer here as I don't think there are many, if any that use that pulley.

Im sure its easy enough to get a trigger wheel bolted to either side, would just need a bit of measuring and some ingenuity to get it to fit, but I would be more concerned about the fatigue life of the crank. Not so much of a problem on a low mileage racer, but I would be woried about a high mileage road car.

i am rather lucky as i bought it second hand, jonspeeds own kit come fitted with this its very similar to the vmax one in looks i thinki will have to get the adjustable trigger wheel and drill two holes and twist the trigger wheel for alignment and do up the bolts but will have to see if it will all fit,

maccamcvey what is the thickness of the one you have?

No it is a combination of standard pulley and MPi pulley AND without any damper.

It would seem that it is too difficult to drive the supercharger, the water pump, and the alternator on just the one belt and standard 'MPi' pulley, thus you need a special pulley to drive the alternator and waterpump with a Vee pulley, and then another multi groove Poly Vee pulley to drive the supercharger, which at the same time reduces the life of the crank.

This is one major difference between Vmax Scart and all others. I know who would get my money.
