wondering if you guys would be able to help me out? as my mini is just about finished ive decided i might aswell get rid of my 406 coupe and just get a everyday car i dont need to worry about and will do me lots of miles to the gallon, i dont mind if its petrol or diesel but im guessing diesel will give me a lot more miles to the gallon. I still do my car audio competitions so i need a decentish size of boot, so far i have looked at corsa-c, clios, fiestas. im sure there is lots of others but i need a spare wheel well for batteries in the competitions so this rules out 106, saxo, 206. My budget is roughly 4-5k

I've got a fabia vrs, the boot is ok size wise but not massive. MPG wise though I've had 65mpg when I was driving like an absolute grandad... hard to do that though with all the torque it has, it makes you want to boot all the time *wink*

because i want something thats economical and generally smaller is better but looking at it astras and other cars that size are cheaper than corsas etc with the same engine, small car prices are just crazy at the moment

everyone is looking for cheep small economical cars at the moment - bigger cars generally seam to be cheaper in comparrison.

As wolfie mentioned, 150bhp Leon could be a good deal - performance, economy and plenty of room for your juke box
