Carl Bellenger just 3 miles up the road from me, is building a Mini estate Mintec AWD version. I have demanded the first passenger ride when its finaly rolling under its own power*happy* It is going to be mental!!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

'Ringmini' build a AWD Pick-Up some years ago. Based on a Civic Shuttle. Man, that thing can move to some extreme places *happy* I had a ride 'round the Nürburgring - but off the track - through the woods - awesome! *happy*

Somewhere around Swindon

i looked at this a while ago imo the only two ways of doing it and keeping the car looking mini was to use the swift gti engine and justy gearbox/running gear or honda d16 on a 1.6 early shuttle gearbox and running gear

Leyland, Lancs

If I were to do it, I'd go the D16 route with the shuttle gear box and lots of boost. D Series engines love boost.
