Hello there,

Does anybody know how to convert a lefthand petrol tank into a right hand one?

I want to convert my mini to a twin tank mini but don't want to spend almost £400 doing so.

If anyone has any information on how to do it that would be great

yes i did this on my last mini i did not find it to hard to do.
1. cut the neck off the tank weld up the hole
2. cut hole in the car
3. then make the tank fit the car with a big hamer
4. then when the tank is in mark the new neck hole and weld back on
5. Make sure NO leaks

job done.

It was 2 days work and it looked sort of ok the tank was £5 so why not

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.
