Have a look at turbo-mini.com

The t2 isn't a bad turbo, but there are much better, more modern alternatives.

Gt17 and Gt15s are a good option. Have a search.

The R5 T2 has been a very popular hoice in the past & works well for 150hp or so. Most people are moving on now to the newer GT series of Turbos, but if you can get a good R5 Turbo cheap it's still a decent choice.

This GT15 seems to be a diesel one. It'll be too small, hot gases of petrol engines make crazy diesel turbines. I think you should look at GT17 series. The GT15 diesel turbos are often rated for 110-120hp output, so compressor may be too small. Diesel and petrol engines need roughly the same amount of air to make 1 HP.

I managed to get a good used one for £200, but they are scarce.

£400 will get you a new one. But beware of the Chinese copies.

Before you part with any cash, make sure that you know what manifold you are going to use and if you need a bulkhead box.

thats partly why i was thinking of using a T2 turbo so i could use a prebuilt manifold from turbo-minis and knot need a bulk head box. is there a disadvantage of using a T2 as i would only be looking for 120-140 bhp tops im still young so too much will just be pointless with insurance
