Check with JohnK

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Magneti Marelli crank sensor from what car ???

The ones I'm familiar with read off 4 toothed wheels , not 36 toothed, so may be poor at higher RPMs.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

The SC trigger kits use the SEN8D Marelli sensor

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

I have found that the send8d sensor seems to work fine if wired (only 2 wires) the opposite way round than the standard EDIS (ford fiesta/escort) ones. Well it did for me.

Used a Fiesta crank sensor and pulley mounted trigger on my 1400 SPi with standard Rover ECU no problem. I see no problem. Polarity is just a technicality *wink*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
