Figured it.... gonna go for a 5 = 2.5 at crank which will stretch to 3 :0) |

you only need to allow for chain streach on a new chain surely. Or is the chain a bit elastic when the engine is runing? Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Hmmmmm? Think I'm gonna check it over again! It's a phase 2 from avonbar (repro) and a new chain and light steel gears from ms but with all the numbers going on it was getting a bit emotional :).

And don t try to find the full lift point just watching the DTI - note the degrees at ,say, 5 thou before and again at 5 thou after and then split the difference in the degree figures to set the maximum lift point. Because there is always a bit of dwell on the nose of the cam at full lift it is difficult to establish it otherwise. |
