Just got round to sorting the video I took of some minis at Gurston down last month. Some are quite interesting. There is also a clip of the clan that should be at the RR next month.

That clan was awesome. I was talking to the owner about it that weekend, also surveying a totally wrecked donut!

Edit: I think I'm being drawn into the world of weird plastic cars!

iv'e just had a look at the results and it loks like Neal Masters is closing the gap on Jim white, , only a few hundreds in it now,

Watching the 2 Jim's car is so quick through the corners, but Neal's car is way quicker on the straight. Jim's car is heavy (not a surprise with all the plastic stuck to it) but I reckon the KAD head on Neal's car is performing better than Jim's K.

The thing is Jim has proper injection and full traction control, which in a mini with decent power on a tight circuit is a definite advantage.

Note the dark read mini (third on on the video) that is the guy that runs polestar running his own injection on a 5 port.

Ben, did you notice if Ken and Neil both had my wheels on there cars, i know they have had 2.5 sets from me, and wondered how much exposure they are getting, lol.

also i'm not sure about the clubman front on Jims car but the air dam will be doing something to reduce drag ,

I can't remember what they were running, to be honest. I will see if I have any photos on the camera.

The front of jim's car is very flat and with no holes, so probably aerodynamic. However to acheive this he has moved the radiator to the boot, almost self defeating I reckon.

Is this the HSA championship? Can't find anything on the site but I'm probably looking in the wrong section
