Ive brought and fitted some gaz dampers to help tidy up the under bonnet area of the car (spax ones were held together with rust!) but have no idea what to set them to. It says on the instructions that turning the dial all the way anti clockwise is softest and harder clockwise. It also said to not over adjust the dampers as they may fall apart! So i turned the dial anti clock untill it stopped which was fine, then turned it clockwise hoping it would lock at some point, which it didnt. I counted 25 clicks then thought i better stop. So both dampers have been set 5 clicks from the stop point when turned anti clock. Will this be firm or have made hardly any difference from the soft setting? How many clicks are there!? I dont want to over do it and break the dial thing but i do want it to be quite firm. Any help with this long winded question would be great! Thanks feature=mhum |

Start at 4 on the back and 8 or 9 on the front and work up.

I believe they have 32 clicks available.... on the mighty we were running it around the 15 mark, so as already said go with a fig between 5 and 10. |
