Hello there,

Does anybody out there know where I could get a harness bar for my seat belt harnesses to attach to. This is for my mini. i want one that will attach to the rear arches, with the loops to place the drivers and passengers harnesses.

I have a tt lyle 6 point roll cage, if that will help at all?

get someone (who is properly versed in the subject) to add one into your cage, by far the best way imho.

Anything attatched to the rear arches is likely to be sitting way too low....

search on here for it, im pretty sure there is a few photos of them, and there is definately the specs of where they need to be etc, (allowable angles from the horizontal)......

mine is welded into the rearward braces of my safety devices cage, with a diagonal brace going from the centre of the bar forward onto the tunnel to spread the forces as evenly as possible in the event of a decent sized shunt....

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

Also search on the mini forum, there is a guy, who makes them on there which attach to the rear araches. They look neat as he welds on small metal loops to keep the seatbelts from moving across the bar. I will try and find the link!

Would not a Safety Devices one fit?
