right, im having a little trubble with running lean.

first off turning the screw will do jack shit at anything much above idle,

Either that or get it on the rolling road and set it up properly, saves alot of time! Most garages will profile the needle for you... Try Atspeed in Essex, that's where mine was set up. 1310 - Supercharged 16v Twin Cam - 190BHP - SC Built.

stuff two springs in and see if it has the right kind of effect before you spend out on a spring.

What sort of boost are you running?
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm running 6psi at the moment. Haven't got a spare spring. Just don't want to get to the rollers and be let down by a crap spring.

I think we have the Avonbar high boost needle in the van running about 15-16 psi. AFRs are pretty good for most situations.

At 6psi, i'd keep the standard 8oz spring.
