Hi i have a 1275 Mini Auto Which i am currently resoring i have replaced the exhuast manifold for the lcb and the inlet manifold how ever i have come across the problem of the fuel pipe not fitting beacuase the inlet is set at the higher angle so i have replaced the fuel pipe but there peice of aliminium which comes up the back of the engine conects somewhere near the front drive shafts which goes to the carb is now to short how can i go about sorting this if anyone knows thankyou |

Kickdown lever of some sort I would have thought, you will need to extend it to make it fit.

There is a certain amount of adjustment available in the 'kick down' rod. Disconnect it from the carburator end - turn anticlockwise to extend. You will need to see if there is enough adjustment available. Edited by svrdaniels on 22nd Sep, 2010. |
