I have had the car back on the road for roughly 3 months now and mostly going pretty well.
i have noticed that both front tyres have worn massively on the outside (from about halfway on the tyre out) but looks about average wear on the inside of the tyre. i have lowered it quite a lot more from last year so there is naturally more negative camber (the suspension is standard apart from the hi-los but is all in good condition, i have changed today the nearside top ball joint as it was just a little too slack but nothing too bad)
the nearside is much worse than the far side but it is noticeable on both tyres.
can anyone help with identifying the problem? i have changed the ball joint as it is the only thing that wasn't actually as it was supposed to be but i don't want it to cost me another tyre if it is something else?

Any help or ideas appreciated.

Thanks. Dan

If it's so much that it wears the outside of the tyres, it surely must be horrible to drive?

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

checked quickly by eye yesterday and you can see there is defiantly too much toe in, it really doesn't pull in either direction. just straight. lol but it has eaten them tyres away at a shocking state. and i don't drive round spinning the wheels at every set of lights.
will get it sorted today:)

thanks. Dan

About the only advantage of toe in is that it makes the car stable! But kills turn in!

Get it tracked and I'm sure it will be much nicer to drive.
