I've got a set of twin Su 1.25 carbs on a super alloy inlet manifold and was wondering if anyone knows who made it. The carbs have landar trumpets on them. Will load up photos of it tonight.

Any help would be great! Thanks.

im looking to sell these at some point just wondered if anyone knows anything about them

Hi Wintersurf, I recon the carbs are just the standard Su's you would find on any cooper 998, but the trumpets are a mod upgrade tuning product made by a company called landar, just like Les Leston and others were producing back in the 60's & 70's. I'm looking for a set of trumpets for my works replica mini I am building and I want something a bit different, I have found a landar rocker cover, so do you still have this set of carbs and trumpets, and do you want to sell them still? It would be great to have a rocker cover and trumpets. Thanks. I'm not sure about the inlet manifold at all to be honest, not something I have come across before.

Manifold probably by Super Accessories, went out of business in the 1980s.

The carbs are not right to be fitted from the factory. Twin carbs always were handed, i.e. float bowl on opposite sides.

Can't help otherwis.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
