hi all im new to this forum seems to be filled with friendly people.
i have not that long ago bought a 1380a+ block just wondering if i could turbo its a 9 stud these are some pictures
also some info i was told about it
work done by minispeed a 1380 engine 7cc dish powermax pistons “Kit consists of: ARP con-rod bolts , nitro-carburised crankshaft, lightened & balanced assembly, steel centre main strap, Pipercross supercharger specific cam,
Duplex timing gears & chain, H/C steel backed oil pump
i have also got turbo,plenumchamber carb inlet and outlet manifolds thanks

I've got an S head and that's been ported to a stage 4. I also run a 1380 supercharged, except mine are 11cc pistons. You will need to have the chambers on your head enlarged.

ok thanks i havent actually got a head at the moment just the block and turbo at the moment so would i have to get a head with sodium valves or is there a better way

hi there and a warm welcome to turbominis *smiley*

the weak point is the pistons you have if you intend to run a decent power levels............. i would ditch them and use accralite forged pistons or OMEGA cast piston which are well proven if turbo applications, available from AVONBAR and MED for the omegas............... if you want a head i can supply one for you please PM me
