I intend to use a Mrk1 center dash thingi but with a smaller speedo and 4 52mm gauges. Then i want another hung off the top dash rail, with rev's boost shift light's and bleed valve.

I have a dodgy download of 'ConceptDraw PRO' pretty sure it will do anything, but a bit of the classic user error and this is what comes out...(large gauge is 80mm)

Would like to try and make this out of some sheet steel. The main issue i am trying to work out is how do i form a nice curved edge around the bottom edge. i was thinking cut the shape out of wood and router a nice shape and then use it to form the metal. but i am a little worried the wood would just dent.

All i can do is give it a go but just thought you clever chaps may have some good input as usual.

Cheers

Don't listen to me I'm a bodger. But I'd print the design out real size on sticky paper. Stick it on the metal and get my saw/file/hole cutters out.

I'm sure if you took your time it could be spot on.

Other than that maybe it can be lazer cut somewhere.

Looking at it now may look a bit shit with all these in the center and the AFR sticking out like a sore thumb! (don't think i will use the amps)

is there any other light or switches i will need/benefit from? the speedo has a high beam light, think i will need a ignition light and the yellow one?

Get rid of the knob, better somewhere like where the choke normally goes.

If you have AFR, best place is so you can see it and RPM and boost at the same time. so one above looks good, try it with card and post up a photo.
