i know its not turbo but this is my first car have had it since i was 15 and startin a half restroation on it in the next few days
when i bought the car i thought it was gona be a simple project but as im sure u's all know with mini's that all changes very quickly here a few pics i have of the car as it stands

the car a cooper registered in january 2000 with about 45000 mile on her had it inspected a few times and the one thing every one said is they couldnt belieave how clean she was underneath so not a bad startin point. like i said didnt intend to do this much work and had only made a few minor changes most interior before.

seats are on custom frames designed so i can drive it in comfort cause im 6ft 3*happy*

the gear knob just a bit of fun found it on ebay
and this is the problem area witch started the restro

the white tape and bluetac was to stop water getin in to the interior

car gona be sprayed in original colour sceem as before wit s/pack's and 13*7 deep dish wheels and lowered to a nice height il post up more pic's as i go thanks

plans for the project are.restore body work need 2 wings a bonnet a scuttle 2 apanels and door skins fit arches respary red hope to have that all finished in next two weeks. then plan to finish interior putin a carbon wrapped dash in a half show cage which im gona make myself in fabrication at college cause i dont like the single centre diagonal but the two diagonals will try mount it using seatbelt mounts and carpet back seats and get rid of all cream . then over christmas hope to take out engine and paint it and detail it aswell as clean engine bay. performance wise i cant really do tomuch because of being penalised by insurance probaly a stage 1 kit with spax suspension and lightned flyweel. and after that repaint rear subframe and do any other work needed have enough to keep me busy for now anyway saved for the last four years for the project so cant wait to finish it and enjoy a few shows

Thats looks fairly solid.

Your best bet would be to put a new top dash rail in, and put a couple of repair sections in at the same time to repair the scutte.

It always looks worse before it gets better...thats my excuse! lol
