I'm after the above please, I'd prefer to not have to pay £200+ for one off Maniflow's site because although I have the money, I begrudge spending the same amount on a manifold as i could on buying another Mini *hehe!*

Evening.

http://www.specialist-components.co.uk/cnb...odCategoryID=17

Id suggest that one over the Maniflow manifolds.

its a better build quality, I`m yet to blow a hole in the center pipe. I was welding the Mani flow (Stage3) one every 2/3 months. in various places.

Its made of a higher quality grade of stainless as well.

Will have to phone johnk up and ask him when his next batch are in though.

Wow, that looks mint!!

My only issue and I don't mean to come across as a stuck up biatch, but that one is about 1/4 of the price of the Maniflow one yet you say it's better?

Its made from a better material for the application, it hasn't corroded. The fit is just as good, and i didn't loose any power on the dyno.

I do have one criticism though, the flange is too thick so you have to fiddle about with the washers machining them to get them to clamp down properly.

I think JohnK is somewhat more widely respected on this forum than the "enginebuilder" you support.

Just my opinion though, others may want to contradict :)

I'm sorry but I don't see what your dig above has to do with the quality of SC's manifold??

I don't see what Maniflow or Specialists Components manifolds have to do with Simon to be honest and frankly i'm getting abit fed up of people taking little digs toward me about it.

It's more of a 'too good to be true' thing, I mean SC's manifold is about 1/4 of the price of Maniflow's best one but it is meant to be made from better material, has a better build quality and looks much nicer.

Well I've never bought from SC before so I haven't heard any reviews on their products. Obviously I'll go with their manifold and save myself £150, once they get them in again *hehe!*
