Ahh, sorry i didnt realise thats what the special wheels were called like on si's car, ive got a set to convert aswell, might have to check if they will fit on my 8.3's an 6pots, my normal force 10's do.

So for your questions i think are yes and yes.

I think (Think) that its down to the caliper clearing the inner lip on the wheels, the ones I have seen have a stepped inner section. The TFM thread shows they wont clear the fiesta brakes, but they catch the caliper not the disc

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Most of the confusion is porbably down to the fact you didn't make it clear at the beginning you were planning on using Carl's splitties, rather than just standard Exactons.

Be more specific in what you're asking and give us all the information and you're less likely to get a bum steer.

In theory it wont make a difference weather there standard or split'ed, as its only the front thats add'ed so back of the wheel stays the same.

yer i didnt need to say about them being conversion to splits as all it is doing is adding a dish on the outside edge which has nothing to do with brake clearance. aslong as there exacton wheels clear the brakes which si has confirmed as he is running the exact set up i am. then its fine. i could go 10x10 and it wouldnt make a differance to brake clearance just arch clearance and tyre probloms. as for the tyre question i did say 7x10 which i have decided agaist and am going for 6.5x10

Aologies - I'd assumed Carl made them into a 3 piece split which, with a spun inner, would obviously affect clearance.

I purposely didn't aswer the question though as I'll admit I didn't know one way or the other!

haha fair enough. nope he just machines the the front of the wheel, taps them and fits the outer rim

because i dont have the wheels. the wheels are going to be going straight from richard to carl. no point sendint them to me then paying to send them to car l again. otherwise i would do this :(

Get a single unmodified wheel and mock up. That is the only way to know 100% they will fit your actual bits. A single wheel can be had for £10-15 if you look around. Also useful to have as a spare anyway.

i run as set of 6x10 exacton force racing splits with a032r tyres. brakes are 7.9" vented discs with minisport 4 pots and mine clear. there is only a small gap, but they clear.

I have wheels and no brakes ATM. I have 5 wheels. I'm going to get 7.9 minisport vented well if they clear which 2 people have now confirmed

Also the mini spares calipers are mean't to be better than the mini sport ones as they have 2 bleed screws instead of one.
