Hi all,

probably a noob question, but does the oil flow from the block trough the connectionpipe, to the oilfilterhousing..... or the other way around???

thats fast......... so that means that the oil to the turbo is unfilterd???

And if i wat an oilcooler with a remote filter it would be best to go from top block connection to the oilfilter, then trought the oilcooler and then back to the block( where the oilfilter origanily was)???

Although it looks like the port for the oil pressure switch/turbo is before the filter it is actually fed from the main gallery after the filter.

and yes, IMO it would be best to put the remote filter before a cooler.

I think very few people, if any run remote filters,

but essentially stick it whereever it will fit.

mmm ok.

why don't go for remote?? gives lot more space for front mounted radiator, or is there another reason for NOT going for it?

There's nothing wrong with the remote filter, as you say its a good way of making room.
