Collected the block from the machine shop(kilmarnock engines) offset bored to 73.5mm and decked by aprox 3mm giveing me 8.07:1 cr. If its too mean off boost il raise it by skimming the head a tad! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Looks good Evo, the 1st 1380 turbo on here... will be interesting to see the results. What spec are you going for?

Yeah i know alex, trying to find one that nobody wants daft money for! Ive got a block thats already had a +20 but wanted to find a standard size block so i can stay +20. This rate ill have to go +40 on the block ive got! |

Cheers, wel AC recomended getting al bore centres moved out .015" and thats the result.. lot more meat between the cylinders than the other 13.5mm block iv got sitting here.
turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

sounds like a good spec to me, but watch the CR with those huge pistons!

CR is curently sitting at8.07:1 with the standard block height the CR was only 6.something : 1!!!! they have a very low crown height and a googe 16cc dish. if anything i want the CR a bit higher! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
