Final parts required for k1100 build

Hi all,

I have been successful lately with my wanted adds so I am going to list the last parts I need to complete my K1100 build.

Ram pipes for k1100 throttle bodies
Air filters
dry kit
Spacers for water pump, crank and alternator pulleys
coil pack bracket
and might be pushing my luck here but has anyone got sc's typhoon ECU going spare?!

Andre might have a VEMS ECU and loom going spare if he goes down the E85 route

yes, I might. I might also have a set of K1100 TB's with ram pipes. Please PM me with if interested.

Thanks for the replies. I am not too up on ECU's but which one is more suitable for a K1100 build out of the VEMS and Typhoon?

VEMS is used by Matty and Colin at least. And a few others also I think? it is rather easy to get support for in our community, for example on the efi-minis forum.

There will be the map I spent hours on the dyno to develop on my VEMS, as I never reflashed it.

The Typhoon ECU is specialist components own ecu. They have of course maps for it available to make it run right out of the box, which is nice, but it would still need mapping to get it correct for YOUR engine, and it used the same sensors, injectors, coils and the like as VEMS use.

Am also very interested in the vems, so 2nd dibs after shiner if you do decide to sell.

For filters mate itg do cheap sock filters for all sorts of ram pipes, the one i have on the pug only cost 12.50 and thats 70mm and 130 long.
