i think it would be hard to lengthen the wiper cable thing, but the section between the passengers side wiper and the motor could be bent to any shape bet you could slot it under there some how.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

If you can get you battery under the bonnet do it all the more weight over the front wheels! Why would you want MORE weight over the front wheels? Why not keep it in the boot? On my hillclimber I have it wher the passesnger seat would be as close to the centre of the car as possible. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Why would you want MORE weight over the front wheels? I'm removing my battery box and putting a light weight battery under the bonnet (if it will fit with inner wings in place). Primarily to save weight (removing the battery box, the long supply cable and it's clamps). In theory more weight over the front wheels will help with traction won't it?? I've fitted a lightweight battery where it's supposed to be in my race car. Why not, that's where I'd want more weight... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Worryingly I'm starting to think a bit like that. Leave things how they are meant to be!

also i thought about cutting a battery box in half and welding it in to a hole in the floor behind the drivers seat, That would work well, until you came to a speed hump.... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Yes more weight woule improve traction. But when is this needed? drag racing or grass tracking. In all other instances moving weight rearwards to quaual axel loads will be an advantage (braking cornering etc)
