Do you leave a bit of the old wing infront of the joint and over lap the fibre or carbon front onto it ?
Or if I keep steel do I cut against the joint and weld a strip down behind..

cut up right next to the seam, then fibreglass on a strip ono the back of the a-panel that overhangs, make sure u leave enough to get a dzus on or similar.

i just bolted a bit of aluminium the the back of the a panel, then used some floating nut style things to bolt the front to this panel.

before my car had bars bracing the a panel to the inner wing, off this there was a bracket poking out that there were some fasteners on

if you just leave part of the original wing then the new front wont quite line up with the a panel
