as am doing turbo conversion soon am having trouble deciding if to go T2 or T3, from what i know for a T2 you only require a specially created manifold which can be bought from mirage and this means not having to cut the bulk head etc out. but ive heard alot of people saying to me that a T3 is easier to do but i dont understand why. can some1 explain this to me?

speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

t3 conversion is more common so parts for the conversion are readily available, hence in some ways its easier.
no BIG difference in how hard it is to do though.

Im sure its easier with the mirage kit, no firewall chopping.

If the mirage kit was around when i went turbo a few years back i most defintetly would of gone for it.

+ I find my engine is nicer to drive on the road with a smaller turbo

i think the t2 is only good up to 150bhp so the t3 is better for the more modified cars.no doubt benross will explain why i am wrong.lol

Turbo technics told me that they can supply a t25 hybrid thats capable of 250bhp and an stable output in the region of 25psi.

Im not sure of the ins and outs, just what he told me. (i couldnt afford one)

But in all honesty if i did have it i do not know if my mirarge manifolds can flow well enough to take advantage of a hybrid turbo like this as they were designed to fit not flow.
