Place a head gasket on the head face, they come with the holes for the extra two studs already cut out, & use this as a template to mark where to drill, easy !

Don't drill it by hand!!!! I learn't this the hard way. Use a piller drill at the least, but I'd prefer a CNC. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

ok and it's the same way around for the head i suppose, the block looks quite obvious, and i was not going to do this by hand, i will drill the drydeck hole and stud holes with a big pillar mill |
