Ive been the only bidder on a charade alternator on ebay for 3 F**KING days and someone bids 20seconds before auction end not giving me the opportunity to bid again , I mean its a F**KING auction right? so if people want to buy something without using the auction why dont they use the bloody local free ads paper? *angry*

No, but it works and if you want to actually buy anything off ebay rather than getting f*'d over at the last minute it seems to be the only option nowadays..........

Agree. I found the best way was to put in a 'small interest' bid, then 20-10 seconds before the end hit the bid for the MAXIMUM you would want to pay for the item.

At the end of the day - that's what it should come down to; How much do you want the item? How pissed would you be if you lost out on it? etc...

I've done this a few times, and it's a REALLY effective way of getting back at these last minute jokers / auction snipers. even had one guy mail me wanting to know what software i was using to beat his software! Told him to go and bid properly and stop being a cunt!

i always wait till the last minute if i really want something, saves getting dissapointed- i waited up till 1:30 am just to buy my engine

i just think its out of order when someone waits right to the last minute to bid as there first bid

It sucks, but it's the way it goes... All you can do is get back at them by throwing in your max bid at the last minute
