What is it with suppliers in the uk? i have ordered several items over the last 3 weeks some on ebay and some from parts suppliers all of these i have checked that the items are in stock

I'm the first to admit that I'm rubbish with posting stuff out. I always struggle to get to the post office. However I do keep people upto date. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

i am not talking private sales john these are companies i dont think anyoe expects a private sale to be shipped out straight away people have lives to lead, what surprises me is companies that have these things in stock seem to take there time t walk to a shelf chuck it in a bag and hand it to the postie

I find that Sheffield sorting office are pretty crap. stuff show's up at random. It can take between 1 and 5 days for first class. It takes stuff 48 hours to get to the callers office 1 mile down the road On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

ordered lots of items last week nearly all have arrived not just car bits so cant say i've noticed anything. |

I find it a bit hit and miss; a letter to me and copied to a client turned up 3 days after the client got his; both of us are served from the same sorting office |

I know exactly what you mean. I've had quicker delivery from Hong Kong than most of the stuff I order in this country. Our postal service is a joke. On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

i put an order in at digi-key (US) and an order at maplins, both similar value, digi-key stuff was here the next day, maplins 9 days :) Yes i moved to the darkside |
