hi guys im considering putting a different engine in my mini for more power and speed but im un sure which engine to use i dont want to do any really major body modifications i dont mind doing a bit of work but something fairly easy that goes near enough straight in any ideas ????? im wanting a 1.6 or above or something as equally fast on set off and speed |

hello john, what ever engine you decide to put in will probly end in subframe mods, if you dont mind about this what about a red top with the top tilted as then you wont need to lengthen the front,

it wouldnt be too hard to cut the roof off, then a v12 would drop straight in In boost we trust |

v12 lol probably bigger than the whole mini |

I believe the Vtec is about the most popular conversion, try the 16v forum as already mentioned

What about a vtr engin with a 1.8 stroker kit and throtel bodies good power and would fit in a round nose and its different Drives

depends how far you go with the VTEC they are know to push 300hp with the supercharger and there is turbo kits about aswell On 16th Oct, 2010 boostjunkie said:
