been over on tmf not getting a quick ansewer from people that may of had this problem?

right i bought a second hand inlet manifold, it is a vmaxscart item i put it up against the face of the charger and made a gasket to see where the holes will have to be drilled

on complete of this gasket i have noticed that both faces of the supercharger protrude into the bore of the inlet,

my question is, are they all like this and will this not affect flow?

as above,

Stuff a load of rag in there and hoover while filing, I'd just round it off and make the hole in the plate wider to make up for the lost area.
