Hi

I currently have a 96 SPI and looking at dumping a turbo motor in it. What is the best thing to do with the wiring?

I have thought about this and I think these are my options:

1 - Modify current wiring to suit
2 - Create new wiring
3 - Purchase wiring

Personally I think option 3 is the best but please let me know if I am wrong. Also, let me know what type of wiring to look for if purchasing a new one (i.e. new or secondhand or from a certain model).

Thanks

there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

yes the it will go on the older out of the car or engine, so if you have proof your engine is before tthe later type strict emmisions (engine code or engineers report) then you will be fine.

i am just about to do this on my car. have unplugged the ignition/injection loom. will probably look at wiring the ignition with megajolt and take things from there. other things that may or may not work such as rev counter, water temp gauge, fuel pump eill then be looked at
