I apologise if this has been answered before, I did try and search before hand.

Now I'm going blow through I think I'm going to need a new air filter, I have a K&N already for an HIF44 but as it will be attached to the inlet of the supercharger I'd need to get a mounting plate made up but I'm worried the difference in inlet size will restrict air flow to the charger itself. I've done a quick search on google for air filters but drew a blank so any suggestions would be great :)

Dunno if it helps at all but Vmax Scart make a manifold set for superchargers, which uses HIF44 and K&N filter. Bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
Unless ofcourse you can get somethin made up yourself.

I would look at a clamp on filter somthing like this,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/K-N-air-filter-2-6-2...=item1c16735d38

and then find some way to adapt it to the charger inlet

Sorry i wasnt clear what i meant, the manifold tube for the carb iv seen used and cut down to be able to place a filter on the end of that, also gives decent movement of where you might want it in the engine bay.

I just use an ITG sock on the end of the charger. Works fine.

I was considering a sock but have also been looking at Pipercross Viper filters. We have one on the ZR 160 and it's a goos bit of kit, it looks gorgeous too, I love Carbon Fibre. :)

They do a universal size and specific model sizes so it's just the job of trying to find the smallest model they do
