In 1994, HKS introduced the first Sequential Blow-Off Valve that blazed the auto industry with a unique pull-type sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system. This advanced system allowed for a broad operation range from low to high boost. This pull-type relief design ensures stable operation regardless of boost pressure.
The New HKS Super SQV 3 Racing blow off valve is a pull-type valve for high horsepower applications.The Super SQV Racing blow off valve is engineered to accommodate up to 3.0 bar (43.44psi) of boost and can function accurately - aluminum pull-type valve to handle the extreme pressure and airflow discharge volume that is associated with high boost / horsepower applications.
Its job is to discharge excess boost pressure when the throttle is closed, the difference between this and a 'dump' valve is that it does not 'dump' all the air from the system, only the excess air / pressure.
This is car specific kit and comes complete with everything you need for easy installation and has the quality of fitment you would expect from HKS.
