Hiya, I have a 1990 ERA turbo that is just undergoing a top end rebuild. Before the strip down if I ran anything over 0.5 bar I could hear air escaping under the bonnet and I spent a lot of time trying to find where it was coming from. Now I've stripped it down I see there is a valve (Dump valve?) built into the inlet pipe bolted to the back of the carb. What do you do with this if you want to run more boost?

Weld it up or pack it out with coins. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
