hello all
half way threw a mini turbo project
gat a metro turbo engine or so i was told and got a shit load of work done on it but did not change the pistons
i changed the rings and upgraded the pump to a 9 gallon per min from the 6
all new to me this
do i need to lower the pressure
and how do i do this without striping the engine again
or do i just leave it as is ?

Fook me that's quicker than it comes out of the pumps at the garage. In all cases the Metro turbo standard pump is man enough if you're using a carb.

How big is the return line you have added ???

If the pump is too big and/or the return line too small, the pressure regulator (assuming you're using the Metro Turbo one) might not be able to keep the pressure low enough.

EDIT - in light of miniminor63's comment below, I had assumed fuel pump.....
If you're talking about the oil pump, ignore everything I said :)
