Hi all,

I'm not sure if anyone on here will be interested but i'm trying to sort out a group buy of cosworth pistons.

See here

http://www.shengineering.co.uk/sh/content/cosworth-pistons

If we can get 4+ sets then the price will be £540 rather than £580

Chris

They look shit hot. However as stated they are competition only. I would expect the life of them/the rings would be measured in hours not miles too.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

That can't be the reason they are not suitable

I have spoken to cosworth and they are going to see if they can supply a ring set suitable for forced induction aswell.

Do you think an 18mm pin is ok for turbo's?

I think I'd rather stick to accrolites at £300.

I've seen these pistons and they are very nice. Dave at sh is a good friend of mine, I'm sure he'll agree with me that there is not a lot of mass to these pistons so not ideal for turbo use
