I know what your all thinking, not this old cookie again!

Well I'm trying to think of a way to utilise my NA dizzy on my turbo conversion. So I was thinking. The dizzy rotates at half the engine speed. Which means 36 degrees of advance from a standard dizzy could be changed to 25ish but adjusting the throw out of the arms inside. Keeping the angle of change to 5.5 degrees. Am I loosing it or will that work???!

Shropshire.

or you could just throw it in the bin and get a megajolt and edis system..

to be honest i cant see the point of trying to convert a dizzy when you can go mappable ignition and get the best from you engine.

That's a very bad idea..
at least you can use fixed 24° and thru the advance vaccum in the bean.Or with all the guys using megajolt you could certainly find a real turbo dizzy.

I do plan on MJ when funds allow! I'm looking for a good alternative until the new year, just thought it might work...

Guess I'll fix the timing to 24 degrees for now then
