As ive been having problems starting the car, i have taken the starter motor off and had a look. The teeth on the teeth thing are slightly worn on one side. Is this ok or could it be a problem that could cause a starting issue? Alot of the time when trying to turn the engine over, the starter makes a weird whining noise like something spinning. Not sure what it is though. Thanks feature=mhum |

Personally I thoroughly clean it but don't use oil.
