For the people who have alloy tanks, what are the capacity. It's just i am trying to gauge a sensible capacity. I guess standard 7.5 will do? |

Cheers again for the helpful reply Joe C. 7.5 is probably what i will go for. I am getting an alloy tank made up in the middle of the boot, weight saving isn't too crucial though, just dont want to be filling it up every 10 miles :) |

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

The gallon is a measure of volume approximately equal to four litres. Historically it has had many different definitions, but there are three definitions in current use. In United States customary units there are the liquid (≈ 3.79 L) and the lesser used dry (≈ 4.4 L) gallons. There is also the imperial gallon (≈ 4.55 L) which is in unofficial use within the United Kingdom and Ireland and is in semi-official use within Canada. The gallon, be it the imperial or U.S. gallon, is sometimes found in other English-speaking countries.
