Just seen the record was broken at the weekend at Santa Pod taking the record from CPL racing. Cracking stuff have been following the car this year!

Fook me... Saw him up at pod a couple of weeks back and grabbed a quick chat with him it was trapping some impressive mph but was struggling to ge the traction off the line, so its been on the cards for the last few weeks to happen.

yes hats off :) Not sure if a fwd mini engined mini will ever get there, as i guess you need 500 to 600 + bhp for that job. Edited by Miniwilliams on 3rd Nov, 2010. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

its all credit to him - for a small budget car its a great achievement and lots more to come next year, I like the fact its an "un popular" car sticking it to the big boys - we'll be at TOTB next year to watch him go for the FWD win - this year his 1/4's were in the 10's I think but his standing start terminal speed over a mile was 172mph!

Un-popular cars is the way to go, I remember this from a few years ago. Really impressed with the traction of the line, I wonder what their 60fts are?
